Last winter I got plenty of chances to pull people out of ditches with the snow we had and made some decent money doing it. I want to get some strobes, similar to the kind the police cars have so I can cut down on close calls this winter. Can anyone find a link to them and a decent set, I don't want no cheap-o's and have them go out on me after a month. Thanks guys.

Whelen strobe packs are what most use...LED's are the new thing...Can get them in a bunch of colors including yellow and are much easier to wire in and take much less power...I run FD and when I arrive on scene the truck gets turned off with the LEDs on still...Never have issues...I run 2 in each tail...1 solid red on each side and 1 white/red in the reverse lights...I'll get a vid up for ya

Those are pretty bad ass for sure! but I dunno if I wanna spend 300 for ones I'll use a couple months out of the year, can you think of any other options Dan?

$300 for an off brand strobe kit is pretty crazy...The Whelen Vertex LED's go for around $80 a piece

Here's a vid to the rear lights...the vid does no justice...each flash from each head on the vid is actually 3 flashes...

Also keep in mind the lights are pretty directional and must be pointed in the way you want them to be brightest...the uppers are pointed directly to the rear...and the lowers are pointed slightly to the outside to give some flash to the side for parking across roadways

There's a reason Whelen is used across the board and not just in show trucks :)

StrobesNMore can **********...Ordered a Quad Dash light from him awhile back in Blue/White...send me 2 dual dash lights amber and white...One of them didn't even work...fought with him for a few weeks till I got paypal involved took 6 months to get my $$$ back...so again...They can **********...

LED's will last much longer...easier to get colors...Much easier to wire in...Just better all around in general...I'd buy LEDs over Strobes any day...
