The family and I took a trip to Harrisburg, PA this past weekend and found that our driver's side rear window refused to roll up. I checked the fuses, took both driver's side door panels off to check wires and followed some instructions that I found online. Ended up driving the 2.5 hours home with the window down. The truck is only 7 months so I wasn't too happy.

So she is headed into the shop and here is the list I have for them to check on.

- Faulty rear window
- Severe rattle/bumping from bed area (sounds loose)
- Rough transmission shifts and slight shuttering
- Squealing brakes
- Jam area of front doors not completely painted

Any advice on any of these issues before I take it in would be appreciated.

I don't understand why people take possession of vehicles without looking them over first. Granted, most of the things you mentioned probably couldn't have been caught by looking at the truck but the door jams not being painted properly should've been noticed and corrected before signing for and taking possession of the vehicle. Once you sign the papers and drive away these types of things can become harder to get fixed if you have a questionable dealer.

^^ thats why RamCares is on this forum now!!!!! WE HAVE THE POWER!!

But no seriously I think it says a lot about our brand that we have some one from corp kicking around to make sure we are taken care of. I know things like that will make me a repeat customer.

It is nice to have someone here but did ramcares Erica get anything done for anyone? That's a legit question and not sarcasm. I am genuinely curious if she was able to get anything done for someone who was otherwise having a hard time getting their vehicle needs met.

Yea, I wish I would have seen that the door jam wasn't completely painted. It is actually only the passenger side front. And what is weird about it is that it isn't "with out" paint. It is somewhat of a "splattered" area that doesn't have paint.

The advice I was hoping for was anything that could help when at the dealer. Any experiences with these type issues. just thought I would put it out there to see if there was something I hadn't thought of before explaining this stuff to the service guy or gal.
