Either size is fine and all of them will perform and produce around the same amount of power.

I will say if a supercharger is in the future. Go with the 1 7/8's.

IMO go 1 3/4" if you tow, or won't supercharge in the future.
Also, $600 will get you shorties which have very limited power adding; the $1000+ sets are longtubes which have far more gains- a few members here have bought & sold their shorties to get the gains of the longtubes; THAT is an expensive lesson.
ARH or Stainless works if it were my $$.

^ JBA longtubes are under $600 for the bare stainless ones. Then price goes up to about $700 & $800 coated I believe.

From what I understand, even 1 3/4 is just fine even if you supercharge. I'm waiting for the Vrams to release :]

Yes 1 3/4" is fine with a Supercharger but better with a 1 7/8" primary.

With the VVT you can get away with the larger primary then typically would be used.

X2 on this^^

I went with shorties and then on to longtubes. Go all the way the first time and save the hassle.
