I'm in the market for some headers soon (Mine have a leak), but I'm not sure what brand is best. I'm not looking for top end headers, but I don't want something thats going to crack in a years time. Are Pacesetters any good, and what work is required for long tube?

Thanks guys

My truck is 4x4, and the ad says it probably won't fit.

no, they won't fit because of the front axle, shorties will work, and unless you're trying to have a flashy truck, you don't really need polished.

I don't really care what they look like. I'm just looking for brands, and what style I should go for (long tube, or shortie)

Definately go with longtubes over shorties for the best performance gains. The Pacesetter longtubes will fit the 4wd's, and they are just over $400 even with their ceramic coating. That is tough to beat. Then if you want to stay with a single exhaust, their 3" y-pipe will bolt right up to the back of the collectors.

Only thing you will need to do make the longtubes work is add o2 sensor extensions for your rear o2 sensors or extend them yourself. You also have the option to run with no cats, open up your stock cats to 3", or go with a set of high flow cats from Magnaflow.

Yep no issues with my long tubes on my 4x4 and mine is the older torsion setup which makes things alill more cramped.
