Headlight Adjustment

So I got some new aftermarket headlights in yesterday and I put them in. The problem now is that it seems like the lights are shining way to high. How do I adjust where the headlights are aiming?

What kind of headlights did you get? Can you post some pics or a link?

If they're anything like mine, you will have to use washers or something to shim them down where you want them

You're gonna have to shim them with washers to get them pointed right. There's no other adjustment on them

Those look VERY similar to the ones I just retro'd - and they had this screw on them:

Well luckily I did find that screw and my headlight looks like yours. Thanks for the help. Now I just need to find a good area to get them adjusted correctly.

You can either make an adjustment with the housing out of the truck, put it back in see how it lines, and continue doing this until you have them aimed or shim them with washers like mentioned above. Shimming is much easier on those junk lights
