2010 half ton with a cloudy lens. Everything else is good. Had some battle damage on passenger side and entire headlight assy along with fender and hood was replaced. Body shop was done and it shined like a new penny....except for the other light, which looked even worse.

Any way to change the lens? I’ve read about having to cook it to soften the adhesive. I can’t afford OEM and Dodge is way too proud of their stuff....

I've had good luck using Meguiar's headlight restoration kits in the past. Had my lights looking new after going through their processes. It should be cheaper than having to replace the complete housing and dealing with swapping out the lens.

I used one of the $30 3M headlight polishing kits on my old '01 Dakota and my wife's '02 Liberty (1 kit did both) a few years ago and they went from completely clouded over and yellow to looking like brand new. The guy I sold the truck to a year later couldn't believe I hadn't replaced the lights with new ones. All you need is the kit, a bucket of water and a cordless drill.

No water no drill just 2 or 3 microfiber cloths

Why do you need to wear a kilt?

Aftermarket headlight bucket is @ $80 on Amazon.
I'd still seal the edges with clear silicone anyway but it's identical to OEM.
If the fogging is on the inside I think this is easier than trying to take apart your original.

Gotta say....that's not a kilt.

3M polishing kit should take care of the cloudy lens.

Worst case, 600 grit sandpaper, wet sand and then go 800grit, 1000grit or higher and then polish it...
