Hey all im looking for help or directed to the right thread

I own a 2014 Ram sport i recently bought HID and everything went perfect they work fine but one day after a car wash the passenger side headlight has an absurd amount of moisture in it so i took the headlight out and vented them more according to the video JJ posted on youtube about HIDS and ran a hair dryer over the light and it cleared up looked fine then after a drive it was full of moisture. Now im looking for guidance as to how to fix this it never used to happen until i put the hids in.

You might be able to put some of those moisture wicking packets in there somewhere. Like the ones you finds in pill bottles, I think you can find them in the rv section at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that. Then once they clear up seal them real good

I'm sure you checked this but make sure the bulb is seated correctly. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the headlight seal itself being so new.

I had this issue one my quad headlights recently. Hopefully someone chimes in with some good advice or a fix. I did the hair dryer trick and I also put silica packs in it and left it over night and all day and thought I had it totally dried out. I actually did this several times because it continued to fog up. Today I actually just totally pulled the lens off and revealed the headlight. Hopefully someone gives you a fix before you have to go that route.

I definelty would not separate the headlight housing.

If you know what you're doing then it's not an issue, if you've never done it before then yea don't do it.

Did you drill anything for the HIDs, or just run them under the cap?

Are all the bolts back on for the dust cap?

Yes all bolts are there and i had to drill a 1 inch hole for the Hid wires but they provided a rubber grommet same as the driver side and there is no issue on the driver side.

Like Jeremy said, make sure all 5 of your dust cap bolts are in and are tight. You can visually inspect the cap to make sure it's fitting well. Sounds to me like you are getting moisture into the housing around the new grommet. I would use some silicone around the wires and make sure it's sealed up good.
