Hello
I just bought a 2022 Ram 1500 Bighorn. I noticed the headlight switch is inoperable. The fog and bed lights will not turn on, and I can't select manually or turn the lights off. The headlights do shut off when I turn off the vehicle. There have been no modifications done to the truck to this point. I really hate our local Ram dealer so would love to fix this myself if its not too involved. Worst case is I have to take it in. Any help is appreciated.

I would definitely take it in. Under warranty you don't want to be rooting around in there and possibly exasperate the situation. If your local dealer is not your first choice. Surely there is another option within driving range.

The headlight switch tells the BCM which lights you would like to be on or off, it's not hardwired to the lights at all. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if corrects itself if you really don't want to go to the dealership. Being the truck is this new I'd take it straight to a dealership.
