Going to polish my headlight housings, but I have one that has a lot of moisture on the inside. Any good links to show me how to remove/fix without completely screwing something up? 2001 quadcab 4x4. 1st time poster. Thanks

I used toothpaste to clean up mine when i first got my truck. It helped quite a bit, but it wasn't clean enough for me (nothing is haha), so I ordered a new pair. I have heard good and bad things about Wipe New, so you might give that a try.

Welcome to RF as well

Good to be here. Thanks for the feedback. I think I've got some stuff that will work to polish them up. Just wasn't sure about the moisture on the inside and about how to remove the stinking things.

Oh, gotcha. When you say remove, do you mean the whole assembly from the truck, or taking apart the assembly?

When you take them out you can let them sit to get the moisture out. Then add some more silicone to the edges to reseal them. You can also bake them in the oven and redo the whole seal. JJ from Retro Shop has a write up I believe in the 3rd gen section about baking.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm gonna remove the whole assembly. Looked at it briefly last night. Got this truck from my father-in-law. Just trying to fix a few minor things. I've removed the assemblies on wife's expedition with no issues. Just didn't know if there was any easy tips to remove on this Ram. Knowing me, I'll remove several bolts that don't need to be removed.
