Hi,
Have a heat problem and I'm going to flush the Heater Core, but was looking for a heater hose on-off valve in the heater core hose and see non on a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 3.7 Truck.

There is also a 3 way with a hose coming off going to the Radiator expansion tank.

Anyone have any ideas on this should be a valve for the Heater Hose that I don't see and do not know why the Heater hose bleeds to the expansion tank?

Can find nothing on this anywhere???

There's no valve in the heater hoses. The temperature is controlled by the blend doors which are inside your HVAC box under the dash. The coolant tank on the 3.7 is pressurized with a radiator cap. As far as the heater return hose going to the coolant tank, thats just the way it was designed.
