Heavy duty bumper grill guard questions

Hi, I am thinking about upgrading front bumper to a full steel front bumper with grill guard. Main concern is deer.

The bumper I am looking at getting is the steelcraft HD series front bumper form my 2020 Ram 1500, I like it because you can retain the wonderful fog lights this truck has (the best I have ever had as far as width).

I was told it weighs 275 lbs.

I have the air suspension, and I am thinking it will self level with the added weight.

However I am concerned about additional wear on the air suspension, front end parts, handling. Any feedback appreciated.


Anyone with experience on adding a front HD bumper and air suspension?

Well if the air suspension is adding air to compensate for the added weight it may ride stiffer. Also keep in mind if you tow or haul anything you are losing that weight from your payload.
