Dunno if I would call California "*********" that may be a little insulting to actual *********.

I too was born and raised in CA and evacuated when my daughter was getting close to school age, since then public schools were risky, I made the decision to leave. Some of the things that I see going on there now make me wonder what the people there are thinking keeping the current legislatures in there.
