Hello,

I drove my truck 3 days ago and today when I went to start it it cranked but would not run, I then poured gas into the throttle body and it ran for a few seconds, Therefor its obvious a fuel issue.

What I have done:

1. Checked all wires running to fuel pump as best as I coud see.
2. Checked Fuel pump relay fuse
3. Bypassed the fuel pump relay
4. Scanned via OBD II and have a P0627 code ( Fuel pump control circuit open)
P0456 Code (small Evap system leak)

I have also been getting a gas cap trouble code and replaced the fuel cap and still get it at times.

I am guessing the fuel pump is bad but its baffling that it ran like a striped ape the day 3 days before parking it and now it wont run.

one last thing I began to run Lucas fuel treatment in it about a month ago which helped my MPG

Let me know what you all think, I really do not want to start throwing time and parts at it, I am considering having it towed to the dealer?

With the P0627 - It's got to be the pump. Work on second, not the other. Wife had the issue - drove to work, went to lunch.. went to go home.. crank no start. Turned out to be a fuel pump.

Thank you to all that have responded, I will expose the pump tomorrow and check it and let everyone know. Are there any upgraded pumps out there that I should consider? I do not plan on any major upgrades other than bigger throttle body, exhaust and bigger air filter
