I finally bought my first truck and I'm looking into lifting it, but I don't know exactly what I want yet. I'm thinking 20" rims with 285 64 R 20 tires. How bad is my gas mileage going to be?? Any help is appreciated!

You're looking at averaging 15-16 mpg..but you can fit that size tire on just a level if you didn't want to lift it.

Ive got 285/60/20 no level so for a 285/65 a 2" level would be plenty

you could do the 275/65/20 and gain an Inch of tire without widening it. Just a thought and those will fit stock, but I'm with you a lvl is still required just to make the truck sit right....lol

depends on how you drive. i average 14.5-15mpg with 6 inch lift and 35's when I'm not lead footing it. i was getting 16-17mpg with a level kit and 33's so. every truck is going to be different along with different driving styles

It will depend on what gears you have in the rear end also. But 15mpg sounds about right if you drive normally and don't try to hot rod and race around town

Try bullydog. It seems like they have tuning for the 13s. Unless your wanting to go big with the mods then diablo with a hemifever is your only way to go
