Hi

I’m in the process of replacing the lower control arms on a 2006 Ram 1500.

I have removed the nuts but I can’t seem to be able the remove the bushing bolts.

I have tried to hammer them out and I have tried an impact.

These bolts should just slide out?

Those bolts are known for rusting in the sleeve of the bushing. You'll probably need some combination of penetrating oil, heat, and impact.

Just cut them and buy new bolts. So much easier.

PB Blaster and an impact gun tightening and loosening. And keep spraying Blaster and it will come out.took me about an hour a bolt but I had to recharge my electric impact several times during. New bolts with anti seize when putting it back together!

Hi

Thanks for the advice.

I cut the lower strut assembly bolt off and now I am working on the lower control arm bolts.

It always makes me laugh how easy things seem in the YouTube videos.
