Haha call me bad but I wanted the headers out of the list of your parts but I would rather see you get a tune and whip up some imports ass.

Great, every tom ,****, and harry couldn't put humpty dumpty back together again. This thread was longer than my divorce decree!! lol. All I can say bullit ,is I'm sorry it turned out this way. When you get your priorities back in order, (by that time a clearer mindset). Maybe you can plug that thing in to a mechanic that knows his ****. There's gotta be a few in texas .Forget the parting out ********, imho I would wait on it good things come when your focused. Besides no one wants a shell of a truck, 'cept the scrap dealer. Thats no place for that truck.

Nick,
What's your plan for re-installing the old cam? And of course you'll look like a horses ass if you get the old cam back in and it still doesn't idle. I continue to believe you have a wiring/plug that is damaged or not properly connected. It ran fine for a few minutes and then the problem started. This is exactly the symptom of a header melting a wire. But, anyway if you have done everything you can and still can't get it right then cut your losses and back away. Take it as a lesson learned. Good luck...

Nick, I am sorry that this hasn't worked out how you hoped. When you installed the cam I thought it was going to be a highlight of modding your truck. If there is anything I can do to help you out just let me know.

Thanks Jason I appreciate it. Gonna work on the truck. it doesnt seem to be learning it any better. and ive got about 900 miles on it since the install. so gonna put the tune back to stock and reset the computer again. after i reset it should i put the tune back on first or start the truck with the stock computer and try to let it learn that way first?

After reset reload the tune. There is no point running it without the tune bc when you tune it later it is going to start the learning process over again.

That's good to hear. Let us know how driving it goes. Where are your LTFT numbers at now?
