Bullet you don't necessarily need a custom tune to bump the idle up, you can try bumping it up with the dsp up to I believe + 4-600rpm over stock on your own. I will agree with the custom tune though as just doing one through sean as mine is now has made it feel so much better than it has ever felt, I can only imagine what it'll be like with the cam and is running right at a 12-12.5 afr without sending him a video of my wideband so he can dial it in pretty good based on your logs.

Also as mentioned earlier with all the two footing you have been doing lately it can't be good on your pos stock converter, so if I were in your shoes, after you get the idle issues worked out and fixed and you don't have to two foot it anymore, I would probably drop the trans pan, do a quick check and flush the system with fresh atf just to be on the safe side

Long story but basically I needed more juice from the alt for my system. I bumped it up 150

Yeah but the tuner was dual purpose and replacing the alt was the very first thing I did when I got the truck

nope. trading it for a dsp tomorrow. seeing how truckin's truck reacted with the tune leads me to believe thats my problem. hopefully raising the idle will work...

That's even better, you will be able to try it right away with no waiting.
