CDT far better than the Focal spears I had in my Pilot. In the front doors they add some depth but are limited by the Alpine system. I had read getting coaxial for the rear was a waste of money but they fill in the sound arena very nicely. Far better than stock. Have fun with your upgrade. The Infinity Reference 3032s are good for vocal but have a closed in sound on upper instruments like a violin. The CDT Unity 7.5 gives a fuller spectrum of sound and allow the full complement of range for orchestrated music.

Awesome sauce! I was going to go the custom enclosure route for the sub so I could stuff a bigger one in there… but I really didn’t want to lose the factory foldout floor(s) as they’ve already really come in handy!

Down the road I may figure out a way to stuff bigger subs back there — but for now I’m actually REALLY enjoying the thump I get from this bone stock factory system…. So I figured a little more thump and more clarity in the cabin speakers would be a great start!
I too like my under seat storage, but I gave up one spot for some thump..lol

Thanks for responding. Is this considered a noticeable upgrade over the Alpine speakers I already have? Will I be able to tell the difference?

I changed all mine out to Infinity Reference 9633’s in all 4 doors and Infinity Rererence 3.5” dash speakers. Improved highs and mids greatly. Order from Crutchfield and you get the plug and play adapters included.

Your best bet is to run your details through Crutchfield as they will instantly tell you what fits and what doesn't, recommend what tools are required for the job, recommend anything you have missing and as a bonus they tend to throw in factory connectors when you buy speakers and the installation instructions when you buy a head unit or associated install parts. Plus you can call and ask their experts questions as they have an enormous database of info.

I would suggest another resource to you for you to get an idea of what is possible. RAM changes lots of things or almost nothing depending on the section of the truck as you move from one generation to the next. So this 2021 install will not match exactly to you 2017 but you will get the gist of things and you can cherry pick what you find useful. They have more than one video you should watch.

Well old school here. Threw out everything that was stock. Added a Alpine CDE 149BT with Alpine KTA 450 and a pair. Pioneer 3.5 TSA 879 in dash 4 Cerwin Vega v469's in doors. All doors were sound proofed . Also was going to remove jump seat bottom tray and build sub box. Box dedicated true 50 w a channel and CV 6x9's is plenty for me. The Alpine head unit put out high volume low distortion power.
