I recently acquired a 1984 W150 with the 318 ci engine and automatic transmission.
I believe the electronic advance on the carburetor has failed because the engine almost always stalls whenever the transmission attempts to shift.
I am considering a remanufactured carburetor from National Carburetors, but there are two listed.
One is "with the bowl vent solenoid" (ND 2758) and one is "without the bowl vent solenoid" (ND 2575).
From looking at the carburetor I have NO idea which one I have on my truck.
Also, if it helps the original carburetor is a Carter marked O-2721.
Thank you in advance.
