Help, my lower brake lights do not work!

2004 Ram 1500 has "Lamp out" warning on dash. Apologies if this is a dupe.

Back driving back lights work.
Back top brake light works but lowers do not.
Hazards work.
Reverse lights work.

Why would the driving lights work, top brake light work but not the brake lights? The driving lights work off the same bulb, you know?

What am I missing folks please?

Take the tail lights out and check the circuit boards that the bulbs plug into.

I had to replace both my boards and guess what on the brake light the socket gets really hot one was actually melted the socket .The socket gets moisture and corrodes when you replace your boards replace the bulbs too and a dielectric grease goes along way.

Same bulb, different filament in th bulb. 1157, 2057, 3057 bulbs have 2 filaments. One for running lights (low) and one for brake/turn signal (bright). Your bright filaments might be bad.
