So I don't own the truck yet, but I need some advice. Should I get this truck? The video sounds a little like a cracked exhaust manifold.. If thats what it is can I go without it for a couple months to work up some money? If not what could it be? The sound is what leads me to believe it is a manifold crack or break. Maybe a bolt? Help please!

Hard to say without being there in person. Use a wooden stick orblong screwdriver and use it like a stethoscope to determine where the sound is coming from. It coukd be a rod knock which would not be good. It is also not a good idea to drive around much with a cracked exhaust manifold. Can cause misfires and fuel trim issues.

I may be wrong, but it sure sounds like an exhaust leak to me. And a bad one at that.

So that being the case you think its just simply not worth the trouble I'd be getting myself into? The guy seems to think its between the header and the block. Says it's be a 20$ gasket to fix it. And thanks is there anyway I can move the section?

It could be, it might not be. Unless you're getting the truck for 2 grand, I personally wouldn't bother.

And you can PM a mod and have them move it for you. Hemibabe and Stangshky (or whatever the last part of his name is) come to mind as being most active.

Sounds like an exhaust leak but it's hard to tell where you are in the video when the sound is the strongest.

Like Quad said use a stethoscope type device. I prefer a 2 1/2' of 1/8"-1/4" tubing. One end in your ear and the other "looking" for the leak.
