Take it for what you want. I was at my dealership getting some work done on my wife's Durango 2 weeks ago. My salesman and I were talking about replacing my 2022 Classic, I told him that there will only be a V8 in my truck and that I was looking at other brands. He stated that the Hemi would be back in model year 2026. So, who knows.

Rumor mill, ala TK: RAM coming back out with 5.7, 6.2 and 6.4 and talking putting 6.4's in the 1500's. Take all that with a grain of salt. Something about a RAM SPORT truck also for 2026, believe it when see it, and allegedly no MDS. That would move me to buy a 2026 if could get a Hemi and no friggin MDS, makes me go hmmmmm.

****, might be time to trade in the '18... Getting no MDS STOCK???

I'm still debating at 112k if I should try and get the accountant to let me CAM swap or not. (Mostly because I know she'll say no...)

With today's announcement by EPA administrator Lee Zeldon, I believe the hemi will be back alot more than before. I suspect we will see no mds, no start stop, no def, no etorque and less electric vehicles being offered. The only electric vehicle you may be able to purchase in the future could be a tesla.

Almost feels like the somebody turned back time

... Lol, I'll believe it when I actually see it ... with much due respect to this post.
Inclined to agree with you but Ram/Dodge has to do something. Using a paper straw for a snorkel so underwater.

LOL! this is some wild speculation. Probably not all the things you listed... but maybe.

Likely the truck version (actually 410 HP) as the torque curve is flatter.

With all due respect....
Why do some desire a 1500 with a 6.4?
(Please don't be offended by my first post!)

What version of the 6.4L 485HP Scat Pack or 405HP Truck ?
If they stick the 485HP version in the 1500 it would be for a specialty package and will have considerably derated towing/hauling capacities. Running the streetlight drag races is one thing, pulling a trailer for up a grade for over 20 minutes straight while the load increases and the engine power slowly goes down (high heat and altitude loss), that's when towing can get "interesting" for gassers.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer used to have the Scat Pack 392 w/ 471 hp & 455 ft-lbs torque.
They didn't use the SRT shorty headers so that dropped power somewhat.
