I had hemi foot last week. I ended up mudding in the ditch on the interstate to avoid a 7 mile backup. Glad i had 4low and local knowledge.

Fusion foot, sure there is, they call it Low T, or Low testosterone. You can either get that under arm stuff that will make your hair fall out and your butt hurt or you can just drive your Hemi 3 times a week...

HemiFoot is known to cause butt hurt too, although it is a symptom most felt by ford and chevy drivers. :signs6:

I was up at my parents over the weekend and ran down to the little conveince store for a sub and some nuts and washers I needed for something I was working on. The kid behind me was yapping with his buddy about his "bad ass" Camaro. They pulled out behind me in said Camaro and I knew right away he was going to try to come around me. Sure enough he pulls out into the other lane. I let him get to my front fender then I let him have. His small block rattle box didn't stand a chance against the mighty HEMI.

Mods could we maybe move this thread to the lounge so 3rd and 4th gens can brag about their Hemi Slayings.

Hemi Foot really bad now...

Well if my Hemi Foot was bad before , it's really gotten much worse
after installation of a Mufflex DOD-18. Just the right amount of rumble
without any upset neighbors. :killer:
( thats what the Harley is for )

For all my Hemi - Footed friends in New York State , I thought
you might like to know that " HemiFoot" is available as a custom
license plate. :happy160:

Cool story and all but why not just let the guy pass you? I seriously doubt he was looking for a race.

FWIW With just under 3OO miles on the clock I have yet to really get Hemi foot but I'm hoping she breaks in nice because according to the ol' butt dyno my Tundra had her beat :bawl:

Hope you got your butt Dyno calibrated by now, I haven't seen a toy that could touch my little truck.

Hemi 6.4
My truck is still new (only 900 miles on it) so I've been babying it for the most part. But that 6.4 just needs some exercise now and then. It is fun to punch it on the on-ramp once in a while though. Love the power!

Love the OP story... that would have been fun to watch. :)

Maybe the 6.4 is different but in my owners manual it says to do "several full throttle accelerations to help facilitate proper engine break in" or something to that effect. I did it so hopefully its not going to come and bite me later...

Engine break-in recommendations

  • A long break-in period is not required for the engine and
drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle.

  • Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km).
After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or
    55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.

  • While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration within the
limits of local traffic laws contributes to a good break-in.
Wide-open throttle acceleration in low gear can be detrimental
    and should be avoided.

Yeah that's it. So I did a couple full throttles during the first 300 miles while going down the road. I never did it from a stop though.

Anyways it was the beginning of my Hemi Foot. It was also a good excuse for the wife if she was with me as it was in writing.
