I think there are many good points on here. Resale on a 2500 with gas is not very good compared to diesel but it is cheaper up front too. I have not went to diesel yet because of short trips that will kill it. I think gas has come very far on reliability and I know many many gas engines do 500k with ease now so they are not bad. If you have the money and are okay with possibility of an expensive repair diesel is unbeatable. I also am concerned with it starting after sitting outside all day with no plug in where I work. I may end up getting an older 2nd or 3rd and using Durango on cold snaps.
