Just got it done. Problem solved. More qustions raised. Cyl 5 plug electrode ceramic broken and dropped. Cyl 4 electrode bent with about 0.080 gap.Wonder how that happens....hmmm? Chug is gone. Creeps easy when I let up on brake.

never seen one like that, off center w/o being smashed, any ideas how? The manu in our suv over toqued the plugs and smashed them because of piston clearance. Funny didnt even know til 30k miles when I did her tune up, I have no idea how that thing ran so good with zero gap, lol. Never mis fired but those two pistons were slimed up as hell.

Keep an eye on them ,and see if you have the plug issue arise again. The bent ground strap almost looks like installer error,and the one missing the center electrode,makes me wonder if it was cheap chinese copy cat plug,as they're fairly common these days,with NGK's being one of the ones they're copy catting.

I'm 100% sure bent strap was installer derived. I installed those plugs shortly after I got the truck. They are NGK plugs. I also came up with 1 different coil pack. Odd. I had 8 matching coils when I took it for cam work. Mechanic a real piece of work. Won't ever go back to him. If you screw up, you own up. Funny thing; he won't return my calls.
