Hey everyone, I'm from London, Ontario, Canada. I've had the truck a couple months now. This is my first full size pickup I've owned. It's a 2009 ram quad cab, 6.5' bed, 4x4 with a 4.7L, dynomax muffler dumped just before the rear axle, pretty loud.

I got a great deal on it although the mileage is a bit high, 293,000km (182,000 miles)

I've spent the first month working through all the problems to get it safetied and legal for the road.

Replaced the front right axle, both right and left ebrake cables, the front pads, rotors, calipers, oil pan (was leaking bad) a couple bulbs then she was ready for the road.

I then took it into Chrysler for a couple of outstanding recall items, a shift interlock problem, gas tank strap, and two hvac actuators they were making a bad clicking noise behind the dash when the truck first started up.

After getting it home I tore into the cancer in hopes of preventing it from getting worse or at least slow it down.

The goal wasn't to make this perfect, just try to make what's here last 2-3 more years, then decide to replace the truck or replace the destroyed metal at that time.

I used rust converter, then rustoleum on the bedsides as I was buying flares to cover that up because I wasn't confident I could get new spray can paint to blend nicely. I plasti dipped the front and rear bumper.

Then after the body work was all done I installed:

- 35" bfgoodrich mud terrains (fit the truck so much nicer)
- A new raptor style grill and glued (or gooped) new ram chrome letters on the grill with amazing goop
- an autostart module
- deezees tailgate assist
- a tri fold tonnoue cover to try recoup some mileage after the 35s were installed.
Then finally got the front windows tinted to match the back.

This is her in her current state.

Especially the rams it seems.

It's the brutal salts they use on our roads, if we don't do anything to protect them such as an undercoating rust protection they go to hell in a hand basket quickly.

This truck was actually fixed once before I did anything. Lots of bondo already on the bedsides and new rocker panels tacked in.
