HID install questions?

I'm looking to put a HID conversion in my 2010 ram.

What's the best way?

When I use remote start the headlights come on before cranking and stay on during crank, then shut off for a few seconds then back on and stay on. I'm not sure how the lights react when started with the key.

I've installed HID in about 7 vehicles mostly GM.
And use a time delay relay so they don't come on until they have power for a set amount of time. (Until after the vehicle starts) so they dont turn on and off and flicker. (Which is bad for the ballasts)

But what should be done with my ram? Also I have the single bulb hi/lo beam and will be getting the correct bulbs with the hi and low beam tilt feature. How does this work with the DRL at half power high beam? What do I do about that?

Also will I need a error code eliminator?

I always buy from DDM tuning for HID's.

OP - to answer your questions:

What's the best way? From me. LOL - I specialize in HIDs for the Ram trucks. We know 'em like the back of our hands!

(Which is bad for the ballasts) Again, turn that option off. A time delay relay would not fit in with the control box for a bixenon HID setup

How does this work with the DRL at half power high beam? What do I do about that? Here is the kit you will need - 09-12 Dodge Ram HIDs - for "Dual" (H13) lights - it is bixenon. DRLs, they would be full blast, on high. The truck sends lower power, but the relays pick it up as "signal" - and the lights are on. no "dim" feature.

I always buy from DDM tuning for HID's. I wish you the best of luck with their kits an our Rams (if you decide to go the DDM route)......mainly because they just don't send the right stuff.

All I know is I'm bookmarking that link to this HID kit because when I install HID's on my RAM... that's the one I'm going with. I've only had the truck for 48 hours, but it seems like that's the most comprehensive kit for our trucks.
