Hid issue

Hey guys I purchased my truck with hids already on there. I love em. But when they turn on my tire pressure light comes on for a few seconds then goes away? Is this normal?

This exact thing happens to me, i have my headlights for automatic on and it always happens, i know "they" say not to do that and to just turn them on manually. I have my set for over a year tho haha
you should contact jay from retroshop to see if he has any info

Mine does this when I turn my hid fogs on...but goes away after couple mins.

I wouldn't be too concerned.

Thanks guys. I wasn't too worried just wanted to know I wasn't the only one experiencing this. Doesn't bug me. But I did notice

ugghhh this is why i'm scared to death of installing these damn things!

From what I've read, it has something to do with the HID system (ballasts probably)emitting a certain RF signal that mimics the TPMS's signal. Not sure how to fix it. But yes, JJ at retroshop can likely help you.
