Hey guys, I'm brand new to this forum so easy on me.. I have a 2011 Ram sport quad cab and just got black housed head lights and want to put in an hid kit. Anybody have a brand I should get and I've seen/heard of some kits flickering or not working properly. Im wondering what brightness and if I need to get extra stuff for the two bulbs with the sport lights. Thanks in advance.

As they said, JJ is the man with the stuff, their hid kits are made just for our trucks so that way their is no flickering

Thanks guys!

On the HID kits for the 4th gen quad lights, check these links!!

2009+ Dodge Ram HIDs - for "Quad" (H11) lights
2009+ Dodge Ram HIDs - for Fog lights

For a drop in kit, I'd go with a Nightvision or 35W kit. 55W are nice, but a LOT better in projectors. :D

do they always work because the hids i have now dont work they are garbage

They are made to work with our trucks. To say that they NEVER have an issue would be lying. There are a few occasions where the lovely Dodge computers raise their ugly head, but typically - not an issue!

Just make sure you follow the install instructions, using dielectric grease on the connections and having good grounds, should be set!

I am running the 55w high and low beams as well as 55w fogs. I had to aim them down to keep the light out of everyone elses eyes.

the kits start at 79.95 for the economy kits, which come with a 1 year warranty. The rest of the kits come with a lifetime warranty, and different options for color (kelvin). Each kit will come with 2 bulbs, 2 ballasts and a vehicle specific wiring harness.

Here's a quick read on the differences in the kits, and the colors - Retro Shop, LLC

Many of us have retroshop HID's, and I don't think there has been anybody who has said, "wow, the stock bulbs were better!" lol.

I am personally running 55W 6000K Digital's...the only way I could be happier is with an upgraded headlamp assembly (re: projectors).
