HID/LED Lux Comparisons

This isn't a technical, lab tested results thread but results I've come up with using some popular HID and LED kits being used mostly with members running the alpharex/modifystreet projector headlights.

I am currently building version 2 of my gen 1 2019 style alpharex headlights. I'm trying to put together the best budget build I can. So all the H1 products I recently purchased to see what would work and what will give me the best results. The H7 bulbs along with the Profile Pivot Hi-Lense was previously install by me. I was sent the 35w morimoto ballast by mistake so I wanted to test them. I'll be receiving the 50w morimoto ballast next week so I'll post those results. I'll mix and match the 50w morimoto ballast with the Innovited bulbs when I get them and will do the 35w morimoto ballast with the Innovited bulbs.

All readings are using a Urceri Light meter at ~20'

Seeing this testing is sorta giving me the itch to build a set of Modifystreet V1 with the Morimoto HB Led highbeam projectors and the M LED 2.0 for the lows

I wanted to go with the MLED 2.0 but didn't want to spend that much. But if I end up with the morimoto hid's I might as well of bought them. But knowing me, build 3 of my headlights will happen this summer

My 55w Morimoto ballast came today so I did a little more testing. Made sure that the battery I'm using was fully charged.

Morimoto 55w 5500k H1 Hid's



Innovited 6000k bulbs with the 55w Morimoto ballast



Retested the Innovited 55w 6000k



And tried the 35w Innovited ballast with the 6000k H1 Innovited bulbs.



And these are all my results

Are the h7 results using the projector "lens" that came with the headlights? And the h1 results are using the morimoto mini?

Yes. The H7 tests were using the alpharex projectors. Everything else was using the morimoto H1 7.0 projectors except the Aukee LED'S. They were in a "cheaper" H1 projector. I linked everything with the pics in post one incase anyone was interested.
