Computer reset didn't seem to change anything.

I just thought of something, I want to make sure I'm not the only one with the hid harness set up like this.

Battery is on driver side, therefore the driver side green factory headlight plug is used to plug into hid harness.

But what about the pass side green plug? Mine is just sitting there not plugged into anything.. Is that how it's suppose to be?

This is the passenger side factory plug for the headlight, nothing has been plugged into it since day 1 of hid install

Thats how its supposed to be, the only thing the plug on the drivers side does is give the relay the signal to close and allow power to the headlights (direct from the battery which is why you have it hooked up there). Also, that green plug on the drivers side should be where you're using your multimeter to test for power with just the low beams on.

I checked both green plugs, both read the same, power to lows and highs

There was power to all 3 prongs in the plug? You also said you already got a replacement harness? Can you hear the ballasts with just the lows on?

No, only power to the 2 outside wires, I assumed the middle black wire on the plug was ground?

When the low beams are suppose to be on as of now, no buzz from the ballast, but as soon as I flick on the highs they start buzzing and working just fine. I kill the highs to go back to lows and all I have are running/marker lights

Okay. Cool. Yep. Sorry, the outside two are the ones you should be looking at, did you have quads or duals originally? The White/Tan and White/Dark Brown (Depending on the side) should be the low beam wires.

I'm still waiting on a reply back, do you have any idea what the TIPM is?

I have also triple checked the harness install, it's really straight forward but just wanted to check my work.

The TIPM is the Totally Integrated Power Module. Better known as your fuse box.

Looking for it now, but quick question, have you tried unhooking the battery for a while? Also, erase the codes you pulled with your superchip.

Just now erased them? Does it work afterwards?

Okay, well if it does end up being a TIPM issue (which from what I can find is very common) then its gonna be a dealer required job. Although it's possible its just locked out your lows for some reason and needs to be reset, but I can't find out how to do that besides taking to a dealer.

From what I can find, the TIPM is basically like an electronic relay. It monitors/distributes power going to certain electronics within the vehicle. So say your HIDs drew more power than the TIPM deems right for your headlights, it'll lock out that function and will need to be reflashed to fix it.

Also, on the harness install, all of the polarities of the wires are lined up right, not flipped? Otherwise it'll pull more current and lock ya out.

How do I find out if this is the case or not? Hopefully this is NOT the problem because I don't wanna deal with the dealer..

Well, I feel as though the other issues have already been ruled out, considering it can't be a bad relay on the harness since you've tried two, unhooking the battery doesnt help. Have the codes on the SueprChips come back?
