Any chance some people could post some pictures of how they mounted the ballast/canbus adapters? Just trying to get some ideas for when I buy my HID's.

I apologize if this sound stupid. With this being my first brand new vehicle, I like to check and double check I'm doing stuff right so I don't half ass things and make my modifications last.

i would recommend the stuff JJ sells at retroshop.us as well, you can tell its quality.

i also was easily able to fit everything into my projector headlight, little different setup then is shown in the above picture but it all fit...sort of like tetris. had to drive around a few days and let everything settle inside the housing before i was able to correctly adjust the headlights though.

I've emailed JJ already and confirmed with him that the components don't fit anymore inside the headlight. Here's a picture he sent me. I'm just tryign to get an idea where to mount these. I was thinking 3m tape and zip ties. Just need to find the best place.

Did yours look like the same setup as I posted above? Just making sure.

Mine are mounted right on the frame rail behind the headlights. Perfect spot.

Mine looks like that setup and I crammed it all in the headlight. Not an easy fit, but like that link I posted shows, it does fit... Unless that ballast is too big in which you have two options. But a hole in the back of the dust cover and run the wires with a grommet he sends with the HID bulbs or snap/cut off some of the lip between the housing and the dust shield and use some sealant to cover around the wires. There's not all too much space behind that headlight when it's installed, so just be sure to look and make your best judgement if that's what you're going for.

that picture from JJ looks a little old. the newest Morimoto ballast has the igniter closer to the bulb and therefore the ballasts are a little smaller. but i was able to fit the igniter, canbus adapter and ballast all inside of the projector headlight housing.
