and im not paying for this kit anyway haha should i get the hi/low with a resistor. Or should i just get low beams since theyll probably be bright enough (less problems recorded this way)

Computer controlled fun....
The Ram sends a pulsed signal to the lights. This means that it needs a capacitor to ensure its getting the right power. Then.......there is this spiffy feature that tells us if you have a lamp out. So, resistors are needed for that.
Bottom line, most companies like DDM send you the cheapest stuff, and hope it works. When it doesn't........good luck.

no need for the when it doesnt, as i said 50 times i do plan on eventually getting one of your kits
