Hi folks, new guy here. Was going to add this to an existing thread but it was quite old. I'm trying to do exactly what the member did in this post: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/how-to-mount-a-pw-hidden-winch-bracket-to-2500-3500-trucks.104255/

However I need a little assistance with compatibility checks if anyone knows. I want to do this on a 2020 3500 Tradesman with a 6.4 Hemi. I found most of the the parts required for the 2020 PW, but I have no idea if the frame horns and bolt locations are the same on that and the 3500 in this model year.

I'm pursuing the this path because I need to run a plow in the winter and my options for winch capable bumpers that wouldn't stick out too far are limited (if someone knows of a different one I'm all ears).

Anyway here is what I have so far:
#6 Winch Bracket - Mopar (68400221AA)
#7 Winch Bracket - Mopar (68349985AB) Need 2 or Might need Winch Bracket, Right - Mopar (68349985AA), Winch Bracket, Left - Mopar (68349988AA)
#24 Winch Bracket - Mopar (68378859AA)
#25 Bracket-Winch - Mopar (68378860AD) Front Cover
#5
#3 Winch Remote Control - Mopar (68400517AA)
#1 Power Winch - Mopar (68437990AB)
#2 Winch Hook Kit - Mopar (68400516AA)
#14 Hex Flange Head Bolt, Mounting, Left Side - Mopar (6102018)

Any movement on your project? I am also looking at part numbers to mount a PW winch.

Not yet unfortunately. Just got my truck in a couple weeks back so I’m way behind. I’m actually looking at having ThrottleDownKustoms and HNC do a custom bumper quote for me with plow compatibility as well since I’ve yet to get anyone interested in this project with me lol.

The front frame rail is different on the 3500.

Im looking into this for my 2500 but don’t want to spend $2,500 for a winch. I’ve got a winch already but the orientation is wrong to directly mount up.

Most of them can be mounted feet forward like this. The bumper I’m looking at has the same standard 4 hole mount. You’ll likely need to relocate the relay box to a more accessible location in most cases. If you find a different solution please do let everybody know.

My winch can mount in any direction so long as the cable is drawn under instead of over.

The real challenge is the clutch which would be hard to get at making free spooling an issue.

Ah ok. I’d have the same issue. I don’t free spool much though and I think I can reach it through the bumper.

same... now that I crawl under and look at it, it’s more of a preference than a show stopper.

I’d love to find the extended lever part number to see if I could adapt to it but so far I haven’t.

Heavy, Have you tried to assemble this winch yet. Wondering how it turned out. What did you do about the plastic grill that the winch runs through? Have you added any more to this list ? Can you give me a ball park on the cost ? Thanks, Bob

The Power '19 Power Wagon runs a winch through the bumper. I dont want to do away with the factory crome bumper.
