I think I'm addicted to HIDs......I should probably be tested.
I got a set of 35W 5k from DDM with slim ballasts with the intention of putting them in the reverse lights. The swap itself is really easy. Just cut off the old connector (I left enough room to splice it back if I ever want to go back to it), and the splice the existing wiring to the ballast connection. That's it as far as wiring goes. Then use some epoxy to hold the light there.....that stupid epoxy what gave me fits. Passenger side went on fine, driver's side just didn't want to stay for some reason. I finally got it to stay though. I learned that I HATE epoxy...
