Hello All,
I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Bighorn(198,091miles) and I have been noticing a light tick and now louder tick on idle/acceleration. The truck aIso has no real power and sputters when I give it gas. I have included the codes and sound below that where showing up before I did a compression test which was recommended by a autoshop who was gonna charge me $450 to look at and I didn't want to pay. Anyways the compression test showed theses numbers.
Cylinders (1)- 210 psi, (3)- 215 psi, (5)- 258 psi, (7)- 210 psi
Cylinders (2)- 210 psi, (4)- 206 psi, (6)- 206 psi, (8)- 210 psi

-I noticed that when I pulled the spark plug wrench out of Cylinder 5 it was covered in clean oil as was the threads on the plug.
-Cylinder 7 Had a little bit of black oil sludge on the plug more at the wrench hex in the middle of the plug.

I am looking for any suggestions as to what may be going on. I can Should I do a leak down test?

Here is link for how it sounds before i tested compression.

Thank everyone for your time. I appreciate any help I can get!!

You might want to pull the valve covers and watch the travel of the rocker arms while somebody bumps it over for you.Not to ruin your day,but it sounds like a bad lifter.

As mentioned above 100% sounds like a bad lifter time for a cam/lifter job 198k not bad at all if it just failed now usually do cams around 100-170k.
