High Idle

Hello everyone I have a 2011 Outdoorsman 4wd and I had taken my truck to the shop for a random misfire code and truck would not stay running. They had diagnosed it as the fuel pump and brake pedal switch. They replaced them the spark plugs cleaned throttle body and was not the problem. They finally diagnosed bad cats, so I get those replaced and still ran bad than replaced throttle body and it ran good until it broke a valve spring, got that fixed now I have lean codes on bank 1 and 2. What could be causing this? Anyone please I have already spent 3 grand on repairs.

Lean codes can come from several different places. A vacuum leak on the intake manifold or throttle body or an upstream oxygen sensor that is stuck low (lean/low voltage).

A scan tool is needed. We need to see what the map sensor shows. We need to see what the oxygen sensors are doing. Are the upstream oxygen sensors switching normally? Are the downstream oxygen sensors steady and stable or are they switching too? We also need to see the short term and long term fuel trims to really have an idea about what is really happening.

You have more than one problem. Step one...find a different shop.

^^^ I agree, it sounds like your shop is just firing parts at it without actually diagnosing the problem.
