98 ram 1500 190k miles
hope you all can confirm this for me I think it's an EPC solenoid issue.
sometimes when I take off from a stop or a rolling stop the truck kinda jerks into the next gear. this only happens from a stop or slow go and not all the time
It also has been sitting at just above 2k rpm when at highway speeds (65-75) now this is fairly new it also sounds like its running harder then before aka higher rpms.
every now and then will sit where it used to at 1500rpm.
it seems to me that it's not changing into the correct gear properly at those speeds and when taking off it hesitates before going into 2nd which then causes a jolt with power.
does this seem like it would be the EPC and or governor pressure sensor in the transition or something else?
thanks for any help in advance.
