2011 1500 4x4. Currently have bilsteins set to max and have 1.5 strut spacers in rear. I want to go higher. Thinking of rough country 6 inch. What are some opinions. Also what would I set the bilsteins too and could I also utilize the rrear spacers or do I disreguard those if we go with rc kit.

Hi skirider,

I was looking at the Zone and BDS kits. They are supposed to be some of the best and the BDS has an "If it breaks we replace it" warranty. Most likely will go with one of these two when I have the money.
Can't comment on the Rough country except to say there a lot of folks that have them and haven't really heard any complaints.

Lifts look into pro comp zone or bds. If not using for off road I'd look at zone or pro comp imo. You can leave the bils on as is. U can leave the spacer on so it's level or close to level aft lift install.

I went with and love the zone 6 inch kit! 5 inch springs in the rear

A 6" lift is not 6" all the around. The truck had factory rake of a few inches and they lift and semi level the truck using various methods. Some use coil springs, blocks, spacers, adj struts, etc. Find a budget and have an idea is this gonna be a pavement queen like mine or off road use. Most have like bds and pro comp lifetime warranty on parts

I've been happy with my RCX. I moderately take my rig offroad, nothin crazy and I've Nvr had any issues. Price was also a selling point for me.

So if I go with a rough c 4 inch with bilsteins what should I expect for overall lift and what with 6 inch.

Im confused if I do a 4 inch with bilsteins at 2 would that be a 6 inch lift?

Keep in mind these trucks will settle about an inch after lift install
