Historically, when do prices start to drop on the HD's?

I'm looking to purchase in October/November. Will prices drop by then?

I'm looking at Dennis Dillon and the 2019's are only like 5K off MSRP. 2018's are about 12k.

They are still trying to liquidate the 2018's...same thing around here at my local dealership.

I would guess that the fall is about right...as the next model year comes out. I don't think you'll see the deep discounts like the 18's are at now...as its still a new updated model for 2020.

Only time will tell...keep an eye on the ads and see what comes in a few months!

Good luck!

Sales may go by their regional markets. In the last week or so, I've received two trade-in offers for my 2013 RAM (they enclose a check for the vehicle of just over $23K) with advertisements of up to 20% off MSRP on select models. The included worksheet included all Chrysler models from MY18 and 19. The advertisement mentioned "they are out to make sales history" this month (June 2019). One of my sons received a like offer for his Ford Focus. I'm in the great lakes region.

Always shop end of year. You will always get the best deals!

That may be, but my Reb will only have more miles by then as it’s my daily driver, so I’m thinking of trading now.

Agreed, and of the month, end of a quarter, end of the year. Ideally a day or so before the end. And talk to the fleet manager, not a sales guy.

Looking to buy my first pickup truck!!
So end of this November/December I’m looking to get a Laramie 2500 Diesel. Are the best deals ordered or off the lot?
What amount off MSRP should I be looking for?

Thanks
Joe
