At that time, that dealership (you can see the name on the sheet) was brand new, and had only been open around 3 months.

And I just realized this:

The timestamp on the sheet is 7:39 AM. I dropped it off at about 7:15AM, so that was one quick check.

Is it even possible to do an alignment check that fast?
One of my customers, who became my customer in July, 2004, left her previous shop, for various reasons.... including the fact that they told her she "needed" alignments about every other oil change.

She was dubious, but erred on the side of caution. In the past 20 years, I've done 3 alignments on her car, when other work was done.
