2014 ram 2500 5.7 Hemi
my remote start is not working and the EVIC is displaying "remote start cancelled hood open"...i did some research and replaced the hood latch assy with the switch integrated, plugged it all in, shut the hood and attempted to remote start, and it still didnt work. i decided to check the wire leading from the hood latch switch and see if it was pinched anywhere, it lead to a ground on the battery and split off to somewhere towards the cab, i started looking and realised the wire was just loose hanging there, not connected to anything. i dont know where the wire/(switch it is most likely supposed to be connected to) is supposed to plug in so i cannot fix it. does anyone know how to explain to me where the wire should end up since mine is disconnected and i cant find it. or maybe have a diagram to show me? thank you!
