Hood Ornament

Hey all I just bought a ram hood ornament and its a lot lighter than I anticipated. I wonder if I got ripped off. Is the original hood ornament (the realistic looking ram's head from the 80's/90's) kinda light and hollow feeling or should it be heavy and solid?
Also if my truck doesn't have holes for the ornament any suggestions on how to install it or have it installed?

I went out and took a look at mine. I always thought it was aluminum but it's actually just painted plastic lol.
