I'm upgrading my interior lights with LEDs. While working on my vanity mirror lights, I "lost" a bulb down into the plastic housing (they are really small!).

How do I get the mirror/lights assembly out of the sun visor? I tried prying around the edges but couldn't find a spot to pop it out. I'm sure there's a trick...just don't know it and don't want to break any tabs.

Thanks for any tips.

I was thinking of swapping mine out as well and stumbled across this.

I did the same thing.... "bulb in the void"...
I removed the visor, layed it on a piece of carpet on tailgate and used a trim removal tool to pop the unit out of the visor. Its in there good so took a bit of prying but it will just pop out

I believe the number for those tiny bulbs is 74. But I bought a kit that had all the bulbs in it.
