How long after build to arrive?

I called the customer service number back on August 20 and I was told that my truck was shipped out by rail on August 19th. Today I called again and was told that the truck was still in Texas and was in the Final-Inspection stage of the process. Today will be 7 weeks exactly since I ordered from the dealership. Also I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue with the VOTS ordering status on the Ram website? Whenever I use the VIN or Order Number, their website only buffers and will never come up with the status. I have tried multiple different computers with the same result....only buffers

Yep, the VOTS doesn't work. I just called and mine is still "D1" waiting for all the parts and pieces for it to go to build status. Tomorrow will make 10 weeks. Yep, it has a Rambox bed.

What kind of % off MSRP are you guys negotiating on orders? I have never ordered before, so I am curious how much smaller discounts are versus trucks on the lot.

Dealer that I buy from told me they would do about 10% off msrp as dealer discount and then any FCA rebates on top of that. Guess it helps this would be the 5th vehicle I have purchased from them.

MIne has been sitting 300 miles away after railway drop off for 2 weeks now. It does not look like it will be here for Labor day weekend and dealer can't tell me when. Says they have no control over the third party that delivers.

I have just been checking in with the dealer for progress status. I ordered around the first of July. Looks like it will be in transit longer than it took to get it built.

I've been checking on the Dealer website and noticed it doesn't say "This Vehicle Is In Transit" anymore and also it has a stock number now. Is it safe to say its either close to being or at the dealership? called my sales guy and awaiting him to call back.

I have been waiting patiently for 9 weeks and 1 day. I called the customer service to get an update (VOTS is still not working). This time the representive was a little more helpful with information. She told me that there are 3 stages in the “I” status, my truck is built and is in the final stage of the “I” status. She also said this part of the stage usually takes up to 3 weeks. My truck build has been in this status/stage for 19 days. Finally she stated that my truck should be shipped out in a few days and can take up to 2 weeks to ship up up by rail and truck. After all said and done, going to be at least 12+ total weeks.

2018 2500 ordered on 8-23-2018. Got VIN on 9-6-2018. Estimated ship date 10-1-2018. Status D1. Because of the goose neck option need to add 1-2 weeks for a 10 truck run. If it ships from Saltillio to Benisa on 10-1-2018, should hit dealer by second week in October.

Still waiting for my truck. Going on the 14th week. I have been calling the customer service once a week and they state that is in “KC” status. This status means that the truck is built and ready to ship out. Also the customer service rep couldn’t give me an estimated time of shipment due to the shortage of rail cars to ship them in. Whenever it ships out on rail, this step will take another 2 weeks before it will reach dealership.

^^^Yep. My 2018 2500 out of Saltillo has been in KZL (built, approved for release, waiting for ship date) since 10/2. Found out yesterday that there is a rail car issue. Also, Saltillo plant is converting to car assembly. RAM 2500 assembly is supposed to stop in Nov. May be contributing to the delay. Estimated date for my dealer to receive is second week in Nov.
