Hey im looking into purchasing a Ram express single cab...for a 4-5 months i will be using the chrome 20in stock wheels...because i want a change...the 'sleeper' look...(i drive a cobra and im tired of standing out and people not wanting to race due to a back bumper that says cobra)...so i want to know how low i can go on the stock wheels without having to due major modifications and not rub like crazy....

3/5

4/6

4/7?

I dont want a 2/4...it is not low enough for me...im 5'6" and i like the trucks low haha, Thanks.

Honestly, I think the largest issue you run into is the rear laterally links contacting the frame pockets they mount into. I don't think anyone has gone more than 5/7 static.

the wheels aren't the issue at all, (though you'll want smaller tires)

On stock tires you can only do 3/5 before you start tearing up tires/fenders in the front.

6" in the rear is pushing it when it come to the upper arms contacting the frame. I tried 6-1/2" and I was constantly hitting the bumpstops/frame.

I'm at 4/6 with 2" shorter than stock tires. There's no way you could go that low on stock 275/60 Goodyears.

It barely was in spec and my adjustment was maxed out.

Yeah spindles, but seriously the quickest and easiest way is to slot the upper control arm holes.
