So, quick question... I love how many of the lights on my 2016 Big Horn are LEDs, but the interior overhead lights, rear cab truck bed light, as well as the license plate lights, etc. are not. Is it a major deal to change them all out? What I mean is, do I have to have an OBD scanner just to switch all of those out? Is it worth it? Thanks.

Did dome light added footwell and planning on doing something in the back seat area soon all LED, 6500k brite white. No alfa required.

I also did my high and low beams as well as fogs with a product from BeamTech, also no Alfa required and they are bright!
Picked them up on Ebay for under $75 for all three sets. Their is an excellent review on them on YouTube.

I did reverse and bed lights on my '17 Laramie. Search for lights that won't throw codes and you should be good, if you do some searching within the forum you will find several posts and videos with part numbers or links back to amazon that will likely work for you as well.

I did all interior to LED on MY 19, except for glove box... Since have Bighorn level 2 trim, all exterior are reflector LED, except for Cargo Light. I left that alone as there are just too many issues ref leaking seals on 3rd Brake Light CHMSL lighting. And since I have a full solid tonneau cover, not an issue. Now, the backup lights, even though LED are sorry. Gonna get a 60" light bar for rear sometime, but no hurry...

FWIW, if U have a lower trim like Bighorn, those Upper Console Map Lights are a Major PITA. No CANBUS issuesIMG_0798.JPG IMG_0799.JPG upper console.JPG LED FESTOON DOME.JPG

I have changed headlight and fog lights to LED. I have the interior bulbs but I haven't installed them yet.

LB headlights, fog, cargo are 5500K (pure white). Dome / map / foot interior and license plate are 6000K (cool white - slight blue tint). I have a Red 921 high visibility for my 3rd brake light (very bright for high mount stop - instant on) and 921 high output 6000K for my reverse. No dash error codes.

If your going to start somewhere, I would go license plate (2 @ 194), interior dome / map (3 @ 211) and high mount / 3rd brake light (1 @ 921 Red). Those bulbs delivered for under $100. All plug & play and easy install. I get mine from VLED’s. Priced higher vs Ebay / Amazon, but they come with a 3 year warranty. Using company since ‘09 and never had an issue. Having a 15% off $100+ and 10% under $100.

Thanks for all the info. Are these you're talking about the kind that will not throw codes/error messages?

Easy swap. No resistors needed on my '17 2500 CCLB. I used red LEDs in the cab because red doesn't ruin your night vision. Lots of Police cars have switched over to red. It also makes my Ram different than the other 147 Rams I saw today.[emoji51]
Also did the others you mentioned. They're all just brighter now. Very happy I swapped them all to LEDs.e67bc87257d0aa429cfece36c4aac265.jpg662c6677328dfbef28c2809db974e776.jpgbc9d55b95ed4959da498e17f5398ecf3.jpg

No codes / dash error message. I’ve been using VLED’s long time, no issues + good quality. License plate, interior domes and high mount / 3rd brake light is a must-do. If you have free cash available, reverse and LB headlights.

Did you use the long life bulb or the high output on the interior?

I put the Sylvania zevo’s in my outdoorsmans interior and took them out when I traded it on my rebel and put them in the rebel. Much brighter and looks a lot nicer than the dull yellow halogen crap.

I changed the fog bulbs and back-up bulbs.

I blacked out the license plate bulbs so they don't see me runnin' shine ;)
