Im still on my 11. But I read about guys that have a lot newer trucks than mine, getting an even newer truck. I'm just wondering. I'll bet there are guys on their 3rd new truck since mine was new. Count your spouse's truck also.

Since 2011?
3.

I bought my 1500 Big Horn new in 2011. Lost it in Hurricane Sandy.
Then I replaced it with my '02.
I just bought an '18 2500.

Not sure I would still have the 11 had it not been drowned in the hurricane.
I'm thinking 89% no. I probably would've dumped it for a new one after 3 or 4 years, depending on mileage and how it aged and treated me overall. I do know I will dump the 18 within a few years for a newer one, providing Ram doesn't go ugly with any design changes on the 2500.

Two RAMs a 2015 and now a 2017. Since 2011 I've actually owned a 2011 Silverado, 2013 F150, two 2014 Silverado's, 2001 Silverado and a 2017 Charger RT for one day all since 2011. I plan on keeping this truck for quite awhile or at least until RAM significantly upgrades the drivetrain. I don't see any reason to get the new body style and spend significantly more money when its basically the same truck underneath not to mention I still think the 4th gen is a better looking truck and has a unique look that really sets it apart from the other makes. Sorry 5th gen guys just my opinion.

I was a Chevy guy for years up until 2008 when I went to sell my '94 and get a new truck.
Chevys were so ugly in '08 that I didn't even want to look at them.
I don't care for Fords, Toyotas or Nissans.
I bought an '08 Ram 1500 with a Hemi....Kept it 'til I bought my '15 Ram 1500 with a Hemi.
I'm keeping this one for at least another 10 years.

So to answer the question....I have had 2 Rams since 2011 or 1 Ram since 2011 if you don't want to count the '08 that I already had when 2011 got here,

Bought my '09 a year ago, and love the truck! A rare rust free Michigan truck...the PO didn't drive it in the Winter, and neither will I! Have an AWD Jeep Compass for the Winter time.

Which gears did your truck come with? How do the 4.10 gears compare? Thinking about making this upgrade.
