'85 (a 318) when I came back from Germany, then a 1994 reg cab (a 318), a 1997 quad cab (turned in on lemon law problems)(a 360) , a 1998 quad cab (a 360), a 1999 quad cab (a 318) , a 2002 crew cab (a 4.7) , a 2004 Rumble Bee (a 5.7), a 2016 Reg Cab R/T ( a 5.7), a 2017 Crew Cab Sport (a 5.7). Also a 1988 Dakota reg cab (3.9), a 1994 Dakota club cab(34.9), a 2000 Dakota club cab (4.7), 2001 Dakota Reg cab (3.9), 2011 Dakota Crew Cab (3.7 -worse truck I've ever owned), 2000 Dakota crew cab(4.7). We like trucks, Wife, sons, and me. Also one each 2018 Durango GT 3.6. Ask me what I know about MOPAR trucks !

New 2000 for 13 years, drove the wheels off.
New 2013 for 4 years, traded after second round of exhaust manifold bolts breaking.
Used 2016 for 2 years, traded when transmission started jerking after auto park update. Still issues after new transmission installed.
New 2019 for ??? years, hopefully until I die, tired of trading in.

Since 2011 I've had two Rams ... 2013 Longhorn and now a 2017 Longhorn ... hope to buy a new one next year, but it appears FCA is starting to price themselves a bit high ... The new style RAM Longhorn for 2019 is priced about $10,000 higher than my 2017 with the same options

2011... upgraded b/c i got the 4.7 and i wanted a hemi
2014... sold the hemi because gas was like 4.xx a gallon and i had to find something cheaper to operate
2015... got into the eco diesel b/c i hated being in a car but needed the good mileage
2017... got back into the hemi b/c my eco blew up (just saying not trying to fight about it)

New 1500 hemi in '11, traded for a '14 2500 Cummins w/ manual trans( clutch ate itself at 50k and no warranty coverage) Currently in a "18 2500 Cummins w auto trans.

Im still on my 11. But I read about guys that have a lot newer trucks than mine, getting an even newer truck. I'm just wondering. I'll bet there are guys on their 3rd new truck since mine was new. Count your spouse's truck also.

I replaced my 2001 dakota w/a 2011 dakota last month. Both are 4x4 4-door, 4.7's. But the parts guys and online keep calling the new truck a RAM. Am I even part of the conversation here at Dodge Ram Forum? or am I some POS wannabe?
