I could be wrong but I find it very difficult to believe that he gained 100hp just off those listed mods. Procharger bolted on, absolutely.
I’m having a hard time believing a lot of things in this post. Maybe it’s just lack of knowledge. These stock trucks are lucky to put down 300 at the wheels

When my 19Classic had 10k on it Procharger dynoed it for me. Stock was 303 to the rear wheels . After the installing the SC it dynoed at 408 to the wheels. Now that the mileage is a little higher it actually feels like it has gotten a little faster but who knows. I do enjoy it and have done a few more little things. Got a few more to do then just drive it and see if it makes 300k miles +.

was that with your lift or was that 100% stock tires etc.... just wondering what these trucks put down stock. 303 is good considering 395 at 20% drivetrain loss is 316.

I am running stock 275 60 20 and no lift. I may go to a slightly bigger tire when these finally wear out . But so far they are doing great but I also rotate them every 10k miles. I also added a LS Eaton unit to the diff after the sc install.

Interesting. That was about where I was figuring. I had pinned my estimation at 425+.
Thanks for the input. I'm curious to see what others have to say and what they base it on.
Using 89 octane?

This is a 2014 ram 5.7 with 1 7/8 long tubes, clutch fan delete, ported throttle body, vararam, hemifever tuned. 360hp 390tq at the wheels with an 8 speed tranny
So if we are saying the 8 speed w T-Case has 20% parasitic loss that means it was making 450 at the crank.

Will be taking the same truck but 6.4 srt swapped and cammed, and FBO to the dyno soon hoping for 500 hp at the wheels

You all do realize this figure is measured at the crank, out of the truck ,before any parasitic loses. At the wheel it is about 20% less.
THis! But also the motors are rated without accessories I believe. Your motor at the crank when new in OPTIMAL conditions was probably closer to 360-370hp before drivetrain losses (transmission, rear end etc) everything eats power to move. I want to say in memory the stock ram puts down like 260rwhp or around there in stock form which if you use 360 crank hp - 20% puts you at 288rwhp. A mechanical waterpump will eat about 4-10hp, alternator is 5-10hp depending on load, plus the other stuff.

Also remember that boltons just dont "add power" on top of each other. So dont think 15hp air filter + 15hp Exhaust + Tuner 25hp... probably more like 20hp filter and exhaust and the tuner closer to 15hp in conjuction with the other mods. The tuner would be less if you don't do the supporting mods, just like more air in with a filter will net less than doing air and exhaust to balance the added flow.

Several dynos have shown stock with 8-speed just slightly above the 300 mark, 5/6 speed slightly under 300.

That would make sense if they are rating the engines with accessories. So then I would say around 300rwhp stock is achievable.

Did you dyno the truck stock?

I know going with an electric fan over the mechanical will net you 30hp give or take. So 50 more total i would believe. Out of all your mods the fan will get yugioh the biggest increase.

No just stock but thanks for the complement. Probably just the angle the pic was taken on. I want the sleeper look and it has been a BLAST. They NEVER see it coming until they see taillights. The stories I can tell and it only has 34k miles on it now. LOL

Maybe a fixed fan with a shroud, fan with clutch around 8-14hp in the 6000 rpm range........the lower the rpm the less the loss.
Then the electric fan will pull around 2hp with a 30amp draw on the altenator.

:birgits_tiredcoffee the fan clutch would explode if you tried to pull 30 horsepower through it. I'd believe it from a 1950s fan mounted straight to the crankshaft...
